When I first imagined this retreat, I thought it would be a gathering of voice actors.
After all, burnout is something I know intimately.
As a full-time voice actor, I spent years juggling auditions, deadlines, clients, travel, teaching, business development, and the endless pressure of being self-employed. In 2024, I hit a wall. Not the dramatic, movie-version burnout. The quieter kind.
The kind where you're still functioning.
Still showing up.
Still getting things done.
But somewhere along the way, you've lost access to yourself.
